There is a deep and meaningful beauty found in nature. Scottish sculptor Andy Goldsworthy has been taking this beauty and adding his own artistic touch to it to bring to life pictures that have been labeled transient and ephemeral. His approach is to “interrupt, shape, or in some other way temporarily alter or work with nature to produce his fragile, mutable pieces.”
Goldsworthy uses a wide range of natural materials such as leaves, bark, twigs, petals, berries, rock, clay, stones, feathers, snow, and ice to craft his amazing pieces.
