Hey homesteaders, we are testing out something new and exciting on the Homesteading/Survivalism Facebook Page.
This Saturday March 5th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM CST, David the Good, author and founder of the TheSurvivalGardener.com, will be hosting an Ask a Guru session on the Homesteading/Survivalism page. Ask a Guru is similar to Ask Me Anything on Reddit except the Guru will be answering any question you have about homesteading.
To participate, follow these instructions:
- Head over to Facebook.com/Homesteading any time from 5:30 to 7:30.
- Find the graphic post where we will be doing the session.
- Ask any homesteading, survival, or gardening question you may have by posting the question as a comment on the Ask a guru post that will be live at 5:30 PM.
- David will then reply to your comment and take it from there.
David The Good is a naturalist, part-time scientist and hard-core gardener who has grown his own food since 1984. At age five, he sprouted a bean in a Dixie cup of soil and hasn’t stopped growing since.
David is also the author of four books; Compost Everything: The Good Guide to Extreme Composting, Totally Crazy Easy Florida Gardening, Create Your Own Florida Food Forest and his latest Amazon bestseller, Grow or Die: The Good Guide to Survival Gardening.
David currently has over 20 intensive beds, over 100 fruit trees, and a series of ongoing experiments in-progress ranging from cross-species grafting to breeding a better pumpkin for the south. More of his ongoing experiments can be found at www.thesurvivalgardener.com.
On Sunday from 10:00AM to 12:00 PM, we will be conducting another Ask a Guru with Marjory Wildcraft of the Grow Network and GrowYourOwnGroceries.com.
Come prepared with the homesteading questions that have been hounding you. If this goes well, you can expect many more Ask a Guru sessions in the future!
The Ask a Guru sessions are in anticipation of the upcoming FREE online 2016 Homegrown Food Summit taking place all next week and starting March 7th.
